Lake Whitney Boat & Equipment Rentals Available whether or not you stay with us:
(age 21 and over; credit card deposit necessary; insurance does not permit towing or skiing behind our boats or watercraft.)
We do not allow dogs on our boats!

18' Pontoon boat (maximum capacity is 1000 lbs.)
$195  plus tax & gas for 6 hours 
21' Pontoon Boat (maximum capacity is 1400 lbs.)
$225 plus tax & gas for 6 hours 

Honda 4 cylinder Aquatrax Personal Watercraft (two seaters, max 450 lbs) $195 each plus tax & gas for 3 hours Available May 1 to September 30  Summer weekend launch schedule: 9:30 am- 12:30 pm;  1pm- 4 pm; or 4:30 pm- 7:30 pm 

 

Watercraft activity packages for guests staying in our cabins:

Exclusive use of  our 21'(max 1400 lbs) boat by your group.
Weekend rate (3 pm Friday through Noon Sunday): $550 plus gas and sales tax
(Blackout dates apply. This package is available ONLY for these days and times, no changes allowed, to guests staying on Friday and Saturday nights. No refunds given for fewer hours used.)

Full week rate: $1,800 plus gas and sales tax

Monday-Thursday daily rate (8 am-8pm): $325

These rates are discounted 10% October 1- May due to shorter daylight hours.

For rent to tow behind YOUR boat:
Slalom water ski $7.50 per day
Knee board $7.50 per day

Trail Rides & Horse Boarding on Lake Whitney:

We currently have 3 horses that are available for guided rides along the shore. $24.00
Lead line rides around the cabins for ages 4-8 are offered on one of our gentle horses for $7.50
We currently have a weight limit of 175 lbs. for all horseback rides.
Rides are offered weekend mornings 9am-12 noon. Weekday rides by appointment only.

If you are bringing a child with you that isn't your child or legal ward, you must bring a release signed by that child's parent or legal guardian in order for the child to ride the horses. Click here for the release.

Guest horses are welcome at Arrowhead. Ride the beautiful lakeshore, then turn your horses out in our pasture for the night. $5.00 per night per horse. Negative Coggins papers are required on all guest horses and we don't accept horses that have been out of the state in the previous six months . Additional trails are available on 3500 acres at McCowan Valley Park on Lake Whitney which is approximately 10 miles from the resort.

Nature watching with our guide:
Our staff nature guide will take your family in search of birds, fossils, native plants, and even butterflies in season. $20 per hour.

Fishing:
Because the resort is located on a gentle slope down to the water, shore fishing is a popular pastime, but for those with a desire to get in a little deeper, there is a gravel boat launch at the resort, or a concrete launch just 2 miles away.

Often fishing with a guide is the best way to assure success. We can't specifically recommend any particular guide, but suggest using local guides who know the lake best. Here are a few you might choose from.
