Horse Rules:
1. A Wrangler will get your horse and/or helmet for you; he/she will help you mount and dismount.
2. Do not walk behind horses.
3. Keep clear of all horses hooves; by at least 6 feet.
4. Upon dismounting leave the area immediately so as to prevent possible injury.
5. Always ride in a single file line keeping one full horse length between your horse and the horses in front of and behind you. Horses too close to each other may kick.
6. Never pass other riders. If you feel the need to exchange places in the line, ask the Wrangler first.
7. Do not feed the horses. Our horses are extremely well fed. If someone feeds a horse one day and someone else goes to pet that horse the next day, it may bite his or her hand, thinking it contains food.
8. While on a ride, do not allow your horse to put its head down to feed.
9. Removing jackets or sweaters while on horseback is strictly prohibited.
10. Cameras must be secured while riding. Ask the wrangler to stop the ride if you want to take pictures.
11. No sandals or flip-flops are allowed on trail rides.
12. Any one under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.
