Arrowhead Resort
All Inclusive and Exclusive Use Packages Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between All
Inclusives and Exclusive Use Packages?
All Inclusive Packages are priced per person and are only available midweek.
Other guests will be present on the resort property, either on a package, or
just renting cabins by the night. Exclusive Use Packages have one price for up
to 18 people (plus up to 10 children under age 12) for using any or all of the
cabins and the watercraft. No other cabin guests will be present on the resort
property. There is not a per person price; the price remains the same whether
you bring 2 people, 12 people, or all 18. You are paying for the exclusive use
of the resort.
Horseback riding other than pony rides are
not mentioned in the description of the Exclusive Use Packages. Will we be
allowed to ride? It becomes difficult to accommodate 18+ people with
only 3 trail horses. We treat our guys with respect and don't expect them to do
more than 2 trail rides per day (one morning and one evening) during the heat of
the summer. If your group has numerous people under the 175 lb weight limit we
will try to accommodate as many as possible during your stay at no additional
charge, but we don't guarantee everyone will ride, particularly during weekend
packages. If, however, your group has just a few potential riders we should be
able to accommodate them.
Can we start our package on a different day than the
ones listed?
All Inclusive Packages can start on Sunday or Monday,
but usually not any other day without special arrangements.
Exclusive Use Packages must start on the designated day shown in the
description.
Are activities scheduled, or are we free to
choose what we do and when?
All Inclusives: We generally have no
more than two or three families booked for inclusive packages at a time so that
everyone gets as much time with all the activities as they want. But because of
equipment and staff limitations, we have to work on a general schedule. We try
to be as flexible as possible, making changes where we can.
Exclusive Use Packages: We work our schedule around yours since
you will be the only cabin guests here.
What if I have special dietary needs?
Please let us know BEFORE you arrive and we should be able to accommodate you.
You will be asked before you arrive if there are certain likes or dislikes for
your family members, please feel free to let us know so that we can prepare
accordingly.
Which cabins will we be staying in?
All Inclusives:We generally use the Treehouses, Double Cabins or
the Family Cottage, depending on the size of your family. Couples without
children will be in Deluxe singles.
Exclusive Use Packages: You choose whichever cabins suit your
group best.
What if we don't want to Jetski, or ride
horses? Is there a discount?
No.
May we have friends or family come and stay
in a cabin at the regular nightly rate and eat some of the meals with us for an
additional charge?
Nightly guests are not allowed to share any of the meals with package guests.
Our restaurant is open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings. Exclusive
Use Packages may not have visitors that cause the total number of people on
property to exceed 18.
What are the laws for children on the
personal watercraft?
Texas law prohibits anyone under age 18 from operating a PWC without
a safe boater education certificate, unless accompanied by someone over age 18.
Details about obtaining the certificate can be found at
www.boat-ed.com. All children riding as
passengers on our watercraft must be able to place their feet on the running
boards.
Is the food good?
We have several families that have returned annually just for the
food!
Please don't hesitate to call us with any
questions you have.
