Before you pick up the phone, send an email,
or start an Internet reservation we ask that you read this page.
Please keep in mind that during the busy summer
months we do not allow ANY visitors. What that means is that only people
registered to stay in the cabins can be on resort property. Please help us
maintain the resort atmosphere by not inviting your friends, neighbors, or
family members to join you unless they rent their own cabins.
Policies & Standards
We have reasonably high standards; you'll find our property clean, well maintained,
and staffed by friendly people. In order to keep it that way we have a set of
policies that we ask our customers to adhere to.
Here are the things
we are NOT flexible about:
- Honesty: If you can't be
honest with us about your needs, it is impossible for us to help you.
- Pets: It's not that we don't
like pets, it's really about maintenance of the property. Our policy is this:
absolutely NO Pets in, around, or near our cabins. RV guests are allowed 2
small, quiet pets that are leashed, kept away from the cabins and the pool,
and cleaned up after.
- Cabin or Site Occupancy: All
of our cabins and RV sites have maximums. There is NO flexibility in those
maximums.
- Visitors: When we say "NO
VISITORS" during certain times of the year, we really mean it. Our property is
for the exclusive use of our cabin and RV guests. We simply do not have
additional capacity.
- Smoking: You may smoke
outside away from any open doors or windows and away from the pool area.
Please ask for an outside ashtray if you need one. We do charge for picking up
your butts.
- Quiet times: This is the
quiet place on the lake and we want everyone to have fun, but the noisy part
of the fun needs to stop at 10 pm.
- Cleanliness: We have a
complete list of what we expect you to do before you checkout.

- Cancellations: We are not
the Holiday Inn on the highway with an endless supply of people to fill our
cabins on short notice, that's why we have a 2 week cancellation period. The
cancellation policies outlined below are designed to help us stay in business.
We don't make exceptions.
Here are the things we are sometimes
flexible about:

Minimum nights:
We require 2 night minimums on all weekend reservations from March 1 to Sept.
15. We can be flexible on last minute reservations. There are no exceptions to
the minimums for holidays or the MX Spring Nationals. Groups of 20 or more
have a 3 night minimum stay required on ALL cabins or RV sites during June and
July.

Check in time is
after 3 pm. We appreciate your courtesy in allowing us time to ensure that
all of our cabins, public areas, swimming pool, etc. are ready for the guests
who will arrive after 3. During the summer months it is VERY rare that we have
rooms ready before 3pm. If your room is available between 1:30 pm and 3 pm we
will check you in at no extra charge, unless you have reserved a one night,
last-minute stay on a Saturday. When that is the case, don't show up before 3
pm unless we have specifically told you that we'll be ready. All arrivals
prior to 1:30 will automatically be charged $25 for early check-in.

Late arrivals:
if you need to arrive past 9:00 pm we appreciate a phone call. At 10 pm we
charge your credit card for your full stay if we haven't heard from you.

Check out is
noon. We can be flexible if you ask first or if you are renting our boats.
All checkouts past 3 pm are subject to a charge equal to half the room rate.
Due to increasing
credit/debit card fraud we observe the following reservation policies. All
cards used for reservations will be authorized at the time of the reservation
for the total amount of your stay, plus 10% even if you do not intend to use
that card for payment. An authorization will place a hold on your
ability to use those funds, so the use of debit or check cards that are
attached to your checking account is not recommended, even if you have credit
privileges on the same card. We do not have the ability to specify credit or
debit on authorizations, so funds in your checking account are automatically
held. We do not accept gift cards, Green Dot cards, or re-loadable cards of
any kind for reservations but you may use them to pay for charges.

Full charges for all nights reserved will
be incurred on cancellations made within the following time frames:
All cabins, RV
sites, boat rentals ..........2 weeks before arrival
Multiple cabin cancellations on groups smaller than 20 will incur an
additional $25 per cabin fee on all cancellations, regardless of length of
notice.
Groups, reunions...................60 days (First night's charges incurred on ALL
cancellations.)
A one night non-refundable deposit is required at the time of all
reservations for Memorial, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends and motocross
race weeks.
