Why we don't allow visitors to the cabins

This page does not pertain to visiting the resort to see the facility for future bookings. We'd love to have you come by to see the property. Please stop at the office as we don't allow unattended driving through. Sunday afternoons are best for viewing the cabins. Mid-week visits should be arranged in advance; Saturday visits are usually not productive as the cabins will generally be occupied. We cannot accommodate Friday afternoon visits to view cabins. Hope to see you soon!

As for having people visit you at your cabin or RV site when you are staying here:

During the busy months of March, and May through August our property is operating at peak capacity.

The resort was designed to accommodate just the number of people that are guests in our cabins and RV sites. Each extra person adds to the burden of parking, trash capacity, pool capacity, and septic capacity. Extra people make it difficult to keep the property clean and quiet for the people who have paid to enjoy the lake from our resort.

We must abide by state regulations put into place by both the Texas Health Department and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in regards to capacity.

Our insurance also has restrictions regarding the number of people that can be on the property at any given time. Visitors are not in any way covered by our liability insurance. Accidents caused by unregistered visitors make us ALL liable-- us, them & YOU for bringing them here.

While it may seem harmless to you to have your one or two family members visit you for a cookout for one afternoon, it really is not. We must look at the bigger picture. It creates more noise, more trash, greater chance of accidents due to overcrowding, more maintenance problems for us, and less comfort for every guest on the property during and AFTER your stay.

We value YOUR peace and quiet as well as your safety and security.

We live on the property and keep a close watch on everything. Sneaking extra people onto the property is simply NOT an option and always ends badly.

Thank you sincerely for abiding by our no visitor policy during peak months. All other months your visitors must sign in at the office FIRST, and must pay $10 per person per day before proceeding to your cabin.
